McCreery has a diverse business and political consulting background that includes working for a US President’s political campaign, the Mayor of New York City at City Hall and a serial entrepreneurial career that includes the start-ups of over 30 companies involved in direct mail and printing, franchise restaurants, plastic (PET) recycling with patented green chemistry, retail, importing, commercial and industrial real estate, billboards, document imaging and software development.

Mentoring

Back home in Mississippi, McCreery also gives his time as a mentor to small businesses and non-profit organizations. He was a founder and past Chairman/President of SafeCity (which was Mississippi’s only crime watchdog group), where he spent nearly a decade improving public safety and security in Mississippi. In addition, he has served on boards at Hinds County Economic Development, Boys and Girls Clubs, MS Center for Public Policy, BIPEC, and Millsaps College Else School of Management and is a frequent lecturer for civic groups, Innovate Mississippi, and other professional organizations. In recognition of his past community efforts, McCreery received the Mississippi Outstanding Volunteer Award from Goodwill Industries.
